The Convergence of Service Robotics and Industrial Robotics

Anyone who attended the Robobusiness 2012 event this week can't argue that there are not some really exciting things happening right now in robotics. As I am spending time in the industrial robotics field, the professional service robotics field and the academic domain, I see many different points of view in robotics. In the presentation that I did at Robobusiness, I summarized the convergence that I see happening between the traditional industrial robotics and the new service robotics. You can see my slides below and download the ppt with more text in the comments.
