Here is a video recently received from one of our partners -Yaskawa-Motoman - showing the Adaptive Gripper in action at the Robot Plaza - an exibition center in Yaskawa's Japanese headquarters.robot luggage gripper

In the following video you will see the Adaptive Gripper packing a suitcase for Mr. and Ms. Smith. At first glace, the setting seems a bit funny. Actually however it shows all the flexibility of our Gripper: picking up a wide range of part sizes and shapes, handling fragile parts and doing some common daily actions such as opening drawers and cabinet doors. All this with a single Gripper!

So, would you be the kind of person who would let a robot pack your luggage or maybe even clean up around the house? (I would rather choose cleaning up around the house.) Enjoy the video!
