Robotiq is pleased to announce participation at the 2011 Automate Show held March 21st - 24th at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL.  We invite you to come see the Adaptive Gripper in action. The dexterous gripper will be installed on various partner robots demonstrating a range of applications at the following booth locations.

  1. Motoman Robotics - Booth 448
Motoman Robotics will begin offering the Robotiq Adaptive Gripper after Automate. We will have a hand-held unit that explains to visitors how the gripper works and what kind of applications it can enable. Members of the Robotiq team will also be present so stop by to discuss flexible manufacturing with us! We invite you to bring samples of your own parts if you’d like to do live testing.

  2. Ellison Technologies Automation - Booth 207
Ellison offers a very interesting application around Lean Cells for robotic machine tending. They have equipped one cell with a Robotiq Adaptive Gripper to show how their solution can be incredibly flexible, no matter how complex your family of parts may be.

  3. Comau - Booth 860
Comau and Robotiq have been collaborating for several months to develop a flexible welding approach to reduce fixture cost and complexity. This collaboration is in-progress and can be discussed further with Comau staff at the booth. The gripper may also offer you some surprise goodies... but only if you are a skilled putter.

  4. Emerging Robotics Pavilion - Motoman Robotics, booth 129
The latest member of Yaskawa’s dual-arm family of robots, the SDA5D, will be displayed in the Emerging Robotics Pavilion. The robot will have one of its arms equipped with the Adaptive Gripper. Motoman Robotics is a division of Yaskawa America, Inc.
