Apply a Constant Force with the FT 300 on a Belt Sander

Nick_kiedaisch is using the FT 300 Force Torque Sensor to sand a part on a belt sander. He is looking for the simplest way to apply a constant force. He attempted to use the force wizard, but without reducing velocities on the other axes as matthewd92 suggested. Got any other ideas?

Updated Specifications for the FT 300

We've got great news! The specs of the updated FT 300 Force Torque Sensor are out! Recommended threshold is now down to 1 N in force on the X, Y and Z axes and the moments are down to 0.02 Nm in X and Y, and 0.01 Nm in Z. Take a look at the full range of specs here.

Force Torque Sensor Manual Calibration

Toby is working on an application that involves a payload that is quite large and can vary in its CoG / total mass. He was curious to know how the FT 150/FT 300 calibrates itself in order to be able to replicate it in the code and run it when needed. How would you accomplish this? Share your thoughts with Toby!
