In our holiday video this year, we helped Santa Claus with his wish list to produce all the presents he needs for the children, without any injured elves! We helped saved the holidays by fulfilling Santa's wish list. What about you? What is your robotics wish list? Let us know here. Also take a look at this post for the making of the video

Using a Safety Scanner With Universal Robots

Tim_Smith tried integrating a SICK safety scanner with a UR5 robot. His goal was to have it go into reduced mode settings as soon as the robot moved across a certain line. However, the robot's transition into the reduced mode is very sudden and creates a jerking motion when crossing the line. Is there a way to create a smooth transition between the normal working settings and the reduced mode settings with Universal Robots? Help out!

Inspection of a Plastic Part Using Robotiq Products and 3D Laser Scanner From Creaform3D

mikebeauchemin did an application demo using Robotiq's products and a 3D Laser Scanner from Creaform.  The purpose of this application demo was to demonstrate how easy it is to perform a 3D inspection of a plastic part using the whole combined solution of Robotiq, UR and Creaform.  See the final results of the demo!

Olympus Games

Tyler_Berryman was invited to participate in the Olympus Games, an event that is organized by one of our partners : Olympus-Controls. Every year, they organize an automation competition using the various products that they carry. This year,  a game of BlackJack stole the show. Take a look at the setup here!
