Machine Learning: Robot PhDs

Over the last few decades, robot manufacturers have been struggling to develop robots that will be easy to program. With the introduction of collaborative robots that can be programmed by hand-guiding, a new threshold has been achieved. However, there is still plenty of stuff to teach robots and at the moment most robots are not very good at adapting themselves to their direct environment. With the introduction of multiple sensors and artificial intelligence, some research is leading to an incredible advance in robotic programming; Machine Learning.
