Mark Essenburg has been watching robots and robotics since the early '80s. Studying electronics in High School he was the only student who worked on robotic projects. He pursued computer programming because no robotic programs existed at the time and started a computer consulting firm, but his heart remained with robots. He began a part time career writing for ROBOT magazine almost from the inception of the magazine. He has written for technical journals, other magazines and writes short stories and theatre scripts. Mark believes that robotics are the next frontier in technological advancement.
