RUC Move-in Day: Robots Get into Historic Building

Written by David Maltais | Sep 04, 2018 11:00 AM

The Voltigeurs de Québec Armoury, home to the oldest French-Canadian regiment still in existence, was damaged by fire in April 2008. This spring,  the brand new Armoury, build from what's remaining from the 2008 fire, reopened in grand fashion. As a sign of renewal, this week Robotiq brings hundreds of Plug + Play components and 60 Universal Robots for the Robotiq User Conference 2018, set to begin on Wednesday. Today our tireless colleagues started to bring the RUC 2018 to life. Pictures time!

They are employees from all departments, even some colleagues' boyfriends and girlfriends. There ain't no RUC without them.

Get in there! From Denmark to historic Quebec City downtown. The Universal Robots world tour continues!

And yes, this is where we'll spend the entire week :) (photo: Wikipedia)

The Federal Governement did a fine rebuilding job since 2008. Now let's go see inside. (photo: National Post)

This  giant wooden roof strucure is quite impressive.

Imagine this venue with all those robots and applications engineers that will be there in 24 hours.

Stay tuned for more tomorrow. Now that the robots are delivered, follow the Robotiq team as we build the complete tech challenge setup!
