Why the regrasp feature is not working on my gripper?

The regrasp feature allow to continously grip the object. It's really usefull for soft object like cables.

Troubleshooting

• Make sure that the customer is using at least 1% force in his close move

• Have the customer grip the part vertically and see if the regrasp works

Solution

Currently, if the customer absolutely needs the regrasp, the only known workaround is to grasp the part vertically on the Hand-E Gripper. If this isn't an option and the customer needs the regrasp, we can offer to use a 2-Finger gripper instead.
