How to Control Robotiq Gripper on TM/Omron S-Series

The TM/Omron S-Series robots utilize TM Flow 2.0, the latest generation of controllers. This guide provides instructions on integrating and controlling Robotiq grippers directly through the robot's wrist using the MODBUS RTU.

 


Integration Overview

  • Coupling Connection: Robotiq has developed a new coupling that connects directly to the robot's wrist via the MODBUS RTU port.

  • TM Component Requirement: To facilitate communication between the gripper and the robot, the TM Component specific to the S-Series is required. This component can be found on our Support Website, here:
