This article is to give some information about the cables of the wrist camera.
There are two versions of the camera. The old model had a Jargy cable and the new model had an Oki cable, the 2 cables are tested by the supplier in bending and twisting.
RWC - Old Model
The cable of replacement : CBL-COM-2069-10-HF
The TUCK cable has been tested for 5 million cycles for a bending radius of 100mm. The recommended bending radius would therefore be 100mm.
RWC5 - New Model
The cable of replacement : CBL-COM-2075-05-HF
The OKI cable (new cable) has been tested for 1 million cycles with a bending radius of 30mm. The recommended bending radius would therefore be 30mm.
For both cables, there have been no lifespan tests performed on the robot, the only tests have been done by cable providers.
The camera is IP67 and this also includes the cable connection at the camera. The IP67 test is done with water and not oil.
