Context
In September 2024, Universal Robots' e-Series model transitioned to use a M8 female connector at the tool flange. This change aims to reduce the risk of collision damage at the flange and streamline the product offering by incorporating the already implemented female connector from the UR20/UR30. Below is a table that identifies the serial number of the first unit produced with this update. If your robot has a higher serial number, it means that you have a female connection at the wrist. Otherwise, it means that you have a male connection.
