There was a classy start to the morning, Day 2, as the sound of live jazz music greeted us on our way into the hall...
Yesterday's product launches --AirPick, EPick, Robotiq Sanding Kit-- are generating a lot of interest (See The Robot Report's story here) and our booth (#7165) has been busy with visitors. We've done quite a few media interviews too!

We stopped by OMRON's booth (#8737) to meet marketing and communication manager Keith Kersten, who explained why Robotiq's grippers and the TM series of collaborative robots work so well together...
We also visited Doosan Robotics' booth (#6573) to grab some video of our 2F-85 gripper in action and won a baseball hat in the process...
We met with Kendra Patton, product manager for the PalletizUR --a collaborative palletizing solution. Our new AirPick vacuum gripper is a key part of the setup...
And we spotted our new E-Pick vacuum gripper in a demo at the Universal Robots booth (#7154)...

There was a famous visitor to Automate today in the form of R2-D2! (And, in case you're wondering, yes, the mischevious little robot did have a conference pass)...
