Meet Tug and Homer from Aethon Inc. See the robots in action on their corporate website and in the above video. The former is able to move rolling stock. The latter is constantly moving, looking for equipment with RFID labels that Homer identifies and classifies. Then Tug does the handling. Together, they optimize the use of hospital material.
The two “brothers” have been tested since 2004. They were officially launched last Monday.
