Our guest in this podcast is Jordi Artigas, Head of the Telemanipulation Group at the German Aerospace Center’s (DLR) Robotics & Mechatronics Center (RMC).

Artigas and colleagues have been working on a teleoperated system that could help solve the problem of space junk caused by defunct and malfunctioning satellites. 

Artigas talks about the problem of space junk, in orbit satellite servicing, why his team chose a Robotiq gripper, and much more.
