How to Return a Unit for Repair Using the RMA Process

Learn how to send your product to a Robotiq service center for diagnosis and repair

This article explains how to return a Robotiq unit for repair through our official RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process. It outlines the steps from requesting an RMA to receiving your repaired unit.

 

  1. Request an RMA

    • Contact Robotiq Support to request a Return Merchandise Authorization.

    • We will issue an RMA document along with a Service Request Order (SRO) number.

  2. Ship the Unit

    • Depending on your location, ship the product to one of our service centers:

      • Québec, Canada

      • Lyon, France

  3. Initial Inspection (48 hours)

    • Once we receive the unit, we will perform an initial inspection within 48 hours to determine the necessary repairs.

  4. Repair Quote

    • After the inspection, we will provide a detailed repair quote based on the diagnostic results.

  5. Approval or Refusal

    • If you approve the quote, we will begin the repair process.

    • If you decline the quote, the unit will not be repaired. We can return it upon request.

  6. Repair Timeline (48 hours)

    • Upon approval, repairs are typically completed within 48 hours.

  7. Return Shipment

    • After repairs are finished, the unit will be shipped back to you.
