At the time, only the Robotiq Gripper URCap X is available for Polyscope X. The following Robotiq grippers are compatible with the Gripper URCap X:

  • Robotiq Hand-E Gripper
  • Robotiq Hand-E C10 Gripper
  • Robotiq 2F-85 Adaptive Gripper
  • Robotiq 2F-140 Adaptive Gripper

1. Pre-installation Requirements

Before starting, ensure the following:

  • You are using a UR robot model that supports Polyscope X.

  • The robot is running a compatible version of Polyscope X.

  • You have a USB drive formatted to FAT32.

  • You have downloaded the correct version of the Robotiq Gripper URCap X from the Robotiq website.

2. Install the URCap X

Follow these steps to install the URCap on the robot:

  • Insert the USB drive into the UR controller.

  • Power on the robot and launch Polyscope X.

  • Open the Settings menu.

  • Navigate to URCaps.

  • Select Install URCap.

  • Browse to the URCap X file on the USB and select it.

  • Confirm the installation.

  • Once installed, restart Polyscope X if prompted.

  • After restarting, go back to Settings > URCaps.
