This article helps you identify the two pallet sensor types used in the Robotiq AX Series Palletizing Solution. Correct identification is required when replacing or ordering new sensors.

Information

Robotiq's palletizing solution uses two types of pallet sensors:

Sensor Types:

  • PAL-SENS-A (Type A Pallet Sensor) 

    • Wire colors: Red/White
    • Mounted facing the 7th Axis when positioned on the left pallet, or facing the pallet when mounted on the right side

  • PAL-SENS-B (Type B Pallet Sensor) 

    • Wire colors: Yellow/Black 

    • Mounted facing the 7th Axis when positioned on the right pallet, or facing the pallet when mounted on the left side

Ordering Notes

  • Each sensor SKU contains one sensor only

  • To fully replace all pallet sensors on a system, order :

    • 2x PAL-SENS-A sensors

    • 2x PAL-SENS-B sensors
