What is Automatica 2022?

Automatica is the one of the world's leading trade fairs for automation. It is a must-attend event for anyone involved in the robotics and automation industry. The fair provides the perfect opportunity to see all the latest advancements, as well as network with industry leaders from around the world.

The event will take place in Munich, Germany from 21 to 24 June 2022.

The organizers usually hold Automatica every two years. However, because of the pandemic, they had to cancel the 2020 edition. It was last held in 2018, when we were live blogging from the event.

For four days in a row, the world of robotics and automation will take center stage. This is a truly exciting event, where we will see all the latest innovations in the field. Whether you are looking at groundbreaking technologies that boost efficiency and productivity, or robotic systems that simplify tricky tasks and make your lives easier, there is something for everyone.

This year, it's back and bigger than ever for 2022! With 500 exhibitors already signed up and the organizers saying the event is "back on track" post-pandemic, we're excited to see what's in store!

From our energy-filled Tuesday right through to our sleepy-but-happy Friday, we will be looking for cutting-edge ideas and breakthroughs that are sure to shape your industry over the coming years.

So what can you expect from Automatica 2022?

As usual, there will be no shortage of new products and services to check out. Automatica is the perfect place to get a first look at the latest innovations in robotics.

The show mostly focuses on the industrial side of automation, although there are always some interesting findings from robotics research.

There's a wide range of automation systems on display, including integrated assembly solutions, industrial robots, safety technology, machine vision and positioning technologies, and more.
